SPILL RESPONSE KIT – GENERAL PURPOSE (COLOUR CODED GREY FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION)
The General Purpose Spill Kit is an easy to carry bag containing a range of absorbents that will cover any run of the mill spillage. It is particularly effective when dealing with any water based emergency. The absorbents in this kit are non selective. The absorbent contents of this kit are colour coded in GREY so that they are easily recognised as multi purpose. The socks and pillows are made of a cellulose fibre which encase a specialised gel. This gel is able to soak up and lock in large quantities of liquid which makes for easy disposal.
Safety – The kit comes with gloves, overalls, goggles and mask to ensure that PPE is available for the operative.

SPILL RESPONSE KIT – OIL (COLOUR CODED WHITE FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION)
The Oil Only spill kit is an easy to carry bag containing a range of adsorbents that will adsorb any oil based spills.
Adsorbents are different from absorbants. Adsorb oils are held to the surface of the material instead of being absorbed into it. All materials in this kit are colour coded in white so that they are easily recognised as being absorbents that are used for oil spills.
The socks, pillows and pads will float on water indefinitely and will adsorb hydrocarbons like a magnet. They work excellently on spills of oils, paraffin, diesel, petrol, turps and paint.

SPILL RESPONSE KIT – CHEMICAL (CODED YELLOW FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION)
All materials in the kit are colour coded in yellow so that they are easily recognised as being absorbents that should be used for chemicals. This is useful when identifying hazards for health and safety and planning for disposal. The outer sleeve as well as the material within the socks and pillows and pads have been manufactured to withstand the absorption of acids, alkalis and solvents.

Yellow haz mat bags are provided for safe disposal of used absorbents.
